Membership Types
Regular Membership - $550
Regular members may vote and hold office in TOMA.
Requirements:
- Members must have a degree of Doctor of Osteopathy or Osteopathic Medicine
- School must be approved by the American Osteopathic Association
- Members are legally practicing osteopathic medicine and surgery in Texas.
3rd Year in Practice - $425
This membership type is available for one year and is only available to physicians who are in their 3rd year of practice. Members at this level may vote and hold office in TOMA.
2nd Year in Practice - $275
This membership type is available for one year and is only available to physicians who are in their 2nd year of practice. Members at this level may vote and hold office in TOMA.
1st Year in Practice - $125
This membership type is available for one year and is only available to physicians who are in their 1st year of practice or in their 1st year joining TOMA
Military/Public Health - $175
Note: Military/Public Health members are not eligible to vote or hold office in TOMA while on active duty.
Non-Resident Associate - $115
This member type must:
- Have a degree of Doctor of Osteopathy from a school which was then approved by the American Osteopathic Association, and
- Is legally licensed to practice medicine and surgery in Texas, and
- Does not practice or reside in Texas.
Retired - $75
Retired members must be fully retired from practice, not gainfully employed in any phase of professional service. In addition, they shall have been a regular or sustaining member of TOMA for a minimum of 5 years prior to requesting retired status.
Student - FREE
Students must be enrolled in an AOA accredited osteopathic college in Texas.
Intern/Resident/Fellow - FREE
Interns, residents or fellows must be in an approved training program in Texas.
