TOMA originated in 1900 and currently has 1,600+ physician and student members in Texas. TOMA connects doctors and educates physicians through Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, as well as advocates for improving public health. There are approximately 8,000+ D.O.’s licensed in the state of Texas and three unique D.O. medical schools in Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
